Tend Pets helps people track pet medications, visits, vaccines, weight, meals, and care notes. This policy explains what data is handled by the app.
The app may store pet names, species, medication names, care times, dose notes, weight entries, food notes, visit notes, vaccine records, and completion history. This data is used to show reminders, records, and vet summaries inside the app.
The app stores all care data locally on the user's device using iOS UserDefaults. No data is transmitted to Tend Pets servers. If cloud backup or family sharing is added in the future, this policy and the App Store privacy answers will be updated before that release.
If the user enables reminders, the app schedules local notifications for care times. Notification permission can be changed in iOS Settings > Notifications > Tend Pets.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. Tend Pets does not receive full payment card details. Subscription status is verified via Apple StoreKit entitlements.
Tend Pets does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking. The app does not track users across apps or websites.
Tend Pets is intended for general audiences. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Tend Pets is not a veterinary service. It does not diagnose, prescribe, recommend dosage, or provide emergency guidance. Always follow your veterinarian's instructions.
Users can delete all locally stored data at any time via Settings > Delete all pet data inside the app. Uninstalling the app also removes all local data.
